Caros Colegas,
Já intervimos em diversas situações de negligência e abandono de património por todo o mundo, no entanto conseguem sempre espantar-me.
Durante o dia de hoje recebi diversas denúncias de colegas sobre esta mostrusidade que foi feita com uma das torres medievais do castelo de Tavira. Alguém decidiu cobrir a torre com tijolo e cimento... É importante esclarecer que as muralhas e o castelo estão classificados como monumento nacional.
Já enviamos diversas cartas para apurar responsabilidades ás seguintes entidades:

Dear colleagues,
We have already intervened in various situations of neglect and abandonment of heritage around the world, however someone always manage to amaze me.
During this day I received several complaints from colleagues about this terror film that was made with one of the medieval towers of the castle of Tavira. Someone decided to cover the tower with brick and cement ... It is important to clarify that the walls and the castle are classified as a national monument.
We have already sent several letters to ascertain responsibilities to the following entities:
Tavira City Council
Faro City Council
DGPC
ICOMOS Portugal
Social Communication
As I get answers, I will update colleagues.
